Man carries assault rifle to Obama protest

I’ll start off today with “How silly is this!” The first Black president in the history of the United States. President Obama has more security detail than any president in the history of the U.S. and more security threats. And then a Black man shows up with an AR-15 Assault Rifle slung over his shoulder in plain view at President Obama’s speech to veterans on Monday in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Black man in America, he should know better. “Arizona law has nothing in the books regulating assault rifles, and only requires permits for carrying concealed weapons. So despite the man’s proximity to the president, there were no charges or arrests to be made.”

I sorry, I believe in the right to have arms, but when it comes to any of our Presidents-present or future, there should be a special exception to ban anyone caring a gun with in a modest distance to insure protection of our leader.

But, here is my thought to you all…” How did an armed Black man by pass an arrest (even though ‘open carry’ is legal in Arizona, so he had not broken any laws), but Gates got arrested at his own home?”

  1. Well color shouldn’t be an issue. Since we are all American’s and many of us grew in American Cultures where guns are valued we shouldn’t surprised nor expect anything different from a black person just because he is black.
